Maye is the plan now, and the Bears grade out a B.

The search is over. The Bears handed the keys to Drake Maye, and the whole operation now runs on his development. No fireworks, but a solid B.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. Getting Hart where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want. They will need Nugent to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
