A costly weekend of dealing drags the Browns to a D.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Browns did exactly that with J.J. Weaver in pick 256. The process wobbled, and the D is where it lands.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. Spending an early pick on linebacker with cornerback and safety open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. They punted on cornerback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Landing Henderson that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
