Start where it matters. The Falcons took Bo Nix to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. Just about everything broke right, and the A- follows.

They will need Eichenberg to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Getting Coleman where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. The phones were where this weekend was really won.

It is not that Jackson is a bad player; it is that the Falcons had louder needs to answer first. They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Bottom line, they left the weekend a clearly better team, and they earned every bit of it.
