Start where it matters. The Bears took Drake Maye to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. A dependable weekend that grades out a B+.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. The running back spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Mitchell at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

The cost of the Limmer reach is exactly the players who went right after him.
