Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Bears never addressed edge rusher, and it is the kind of gap that lingers. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

Loveland falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly.

Job largely done: running back settled and 3 of 8 of the wish list covered. They chose more darts over a bigger single swing.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
