The Vikings did not so much draft Clay Webb as overpay for him, 56 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. However the rest shakes out, Harris at that price is a win they earned. A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
