Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Steelers spent pick No. 61 on Jalen Milroe, a name the board had a full 34 spots lower. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. The Williams value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes.
