You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Bears did exactly that with Solomon Tuliaupupu in Round 7, Pick 25.

Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Thieneman value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.

On the needs board they went 4 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
