TW52 DRAFTING FOR THERavens
Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall
B
ValueB+
NeedB
TradesB-
FutureB-
Nothing loud, just a tidy B for the Ravens. For all the boxes ticked, the Ravens skipped the loudest one: interior defensive lineman is exactly as bare as it was. No fireworks, but a solid B.
However the rest shakes out, Cisse at that price is a win they earned. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
Pick Analysis
Pick14
Rnd1
Arvell Reese
In slot 14 they get a downhill thumper at linebacker, and a steal at that. Need was not the driver here.
Pick45
Rnd2
Brandon Cisse
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Brandon Cisse at the 45th pick is the proof. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick80
Rnd3
Brian Parker II
Brian Parker II at the 80th overall pick is money in the bank, a offensive lineman taken below his worth. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick115
Rnd4
Bryce Lance
Bryce Lance in Round 4, Pick 15 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
