The Bears found their guy under center in Williams: D-.

The phones were a trap the Bears kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. It grades a D-, and the process earned it.

Everything downstream of Caleb Williams depends on Caleb Williams, and the building knows it. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through linebacker. Frazier has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

The veteran additions, Laken Tomlinson chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, linebacker very much included.
