The Bears left with their quarterback, and a D to match.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Bears shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill.

So much rides on Caleb Williams that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him. If Keegan pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.
