Horton should have been long gone. The Ravens pounced, and earned a B.

Call it larceny. Tory Horton sat on the board until the 178th pick, and the Ravens did not need to be asked twice. The bottom line is a respectable B.

They will answer for taking linebacker early while running back, quarterback and other spots went begging. The running back spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.

In slot 27 they get a coverage-and-run second-level piece at fair value. Need was not the driver here.
Pick59 Rnd2 Marcus Mbow
Marcus Mbow at the 59th pick is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the offensive lineman. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick91 Rnd3 Azareye'h Thomas
They will replay Azareye'h Thomas at the 91st overall pick for years; that is how good the value is. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.

Jaylin Noel at No. 128 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.

A surprising call. With running back, quarterback and other spots still to address, they spent pick 136 on Danny Stutsman, a linebacker they were not short of.
