The Broncos won the night they stopped Lundt from sliding. Grade: B.

You could see the war room lean forward. Chase Lundt at Round 6, Pick 15 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made.

Linebacker is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. They chose more darts over a bigger single swing.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
