Somebody in pick No. 216 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Browns sat still while Dillon Gabriel, the No. 133 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

Everything downstream of Cam Ward depends on Cam Ward, and the building knows it. Reaching for Hamilton left real value on the table behind him. They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Quarterback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
