The rest of the league will want that one back. Jeffrey Bassa tumbling to the Patriots in pick 222 is a gift they did not have to think twice about.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. They will need Henderson to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

They went 5 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
