The Broncos did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Monroe Freeling fell into the 130th pick.

The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The cost of the Thomas reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

They left with linebacker solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
