Somebody in the 38th pick was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Patriots sat still while Tyler Warren, the No. 16 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Add it all up and it grades out a clean A-.

They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Jordan Addison deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

In short, they turned a good board into a better roster, and it shows.
