Draft Grade — Titans
Overall B+
ValueB+ NeedB+ TradesC- FutureA+
Kiser should have been long gone. The Titans pounced, and earned a B+.

Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Jack Kiser got past him. The Titans do not have to explain a thing at pick 241. They moved the roster forward and banked a B+ for it.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. The Titans clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

A small leak at the table, if not a fatal one. Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.

Pick Analysis
Pick25 Rnd1 Shemar Stewart
In Round 1, Pick 25 they get a problem off the edge. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick35 Rnd2 Nick Emmanwori
The board had Nick Emmanwori higher than pick 35, and the safety fell to them anyway. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick58 Rnd2 Aireontae Ersery
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Aireontae Ersery at slot 58. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick119 Rnd4 Cam Skattebo
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Cam Skattebo at No. 119 is the proof. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick126 Rnd4 Jordan Phillips
Value with a capital V on Jordan Phillips in pick No. 126, a genuine coup. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick142 Rnd5 Tory Horton
Circle this one: Tory Horton at the 142nd pick is a fall that decides a draft. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick180 Rnd6 Raheim Sanders
Taking Raheim Sanders in the Round 6 slot is close to grand larceny; a running back that good had no business lasting this long. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick241 Rnd7 Jack Kiser
The board fumbled Jack Kiser all the way to the 241st overall pick, and they scooped it up. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
