Best value of the weekend goes to the Falcons for Martinez: D+.

Somebody in the Round 7 slot was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Falcons sat still while Damien Martinez, the No. 157 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Hard to defend, and the D+ reflects that.

They are betting Carroll proves the room right and everyone else wrong. The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close.

They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and interior defensive lineman is still a hole.
