You build a draft on nights like this. Josiah Trotter had no business being available in slot 95, and the Giants did the only sane thing and turned in the card. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B+.

The Foster reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The trade work was a quiet net positive. Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
