When a board-topper like Connor Lew slides to the 97th overall pick, you do not overthink it, and the Jets did not. The board rewarded a patient, disciplined weekend with a A-.

The cost of the Grimes reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend.

The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The George Pickens deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

Bottom line, with Arvell Reese leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
