Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the 49ers spent slot 43 on Cam Skattebo, a name most had 56 spots down the list. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Felton. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
