The Bears finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a B.

The Bears spent the pick that matters most on Drake Maye, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

The Johnson pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class.

Spending an early pick on TE-EDGE with interior defensive lineman and linebacker open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
