The steal of the weekend belongs to the Chargers and James: B+.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Chargers were there to profit. Jordan James, the No. 53 name on the board, should have been long gone before Round 5, Pick 19. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B+.

Slackman has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with interior defensive lineman the one that mattered most.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
