When a board-topper like Keon Coleman slides to No. 95, you do not overthink it, and the Patriots did not. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

The whole projection now runs through Jayden Daniels; hit there and everything else looks smarter. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

They will answer for taking cornerback early while edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots went begging. Reaching for Paul left real value on the table behind him.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
