Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Titans spent pick No. 66 on Derrick Moore, a name the board had a full 38 spots lower. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman.

Getting Wheatley where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. The veteran additions, DaRon Bland chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
