The Texans robbed the room for Bertrand. Final grade: B+. Somebody in No. 236 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Texans sat still while JD Bertrand, the No. 205 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B+.
The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. Reaching for Smith left real value on the table behind him.
Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
