Larceny in Round 6, Pick 28 lands the Cowboys a A-, Broughton and all. The trade table was a mismatch, and the Cowboys were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. A near-flawless weekend of work, and a A- to cap it.
On value alone, Broughton makes the weekend a net positive. They will regret leaving linebacker for another day if the season turns on it. The Cowboys paired the rookies with proven help, Justice Hill leading the way.
The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.
Bottom line, with Kenneth Grant leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
