Farmer should have been long gone. The Cowboys pounced, and earned a A-.

Somebody in Round 5, Pick 11 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Cowboys sat still while Joshua Farmer, the No. 113 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped offensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. Reaching for Milroe left real value on the table behind him. The O'Cyrus Torrence pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

Bottom line, they did the job about as well as it can be done.
