The Cowboys bet big and early on Jowon Briggs, 53 picks ahead of the board. Bold does not always mean right. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

However the rest shakes out, Burton at that price is a win they earned. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
