Best value of the weekend goes to the Cowboys for Lacy: D-.

The phones were a trap the Cowboys kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal.

Carroll has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Getting Lacy where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

Bottom line, they will be counting on several picks to beat their grades.
