The Cowboys lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again.

Every board in the league had Rosemy-Jacksaint lower, and that gap is the story. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. However the rest shakes out, Gore Jr. at that price is a win they earned.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.
