The trade table was where it all came apart. The Cowboys shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill.

Landing Jones that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. They went 6 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.
