If you want a masterclass in dealing, watch the Cowboys, who turned every swap into a profit this weekend. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B+.

That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Henderson falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

The Shaq Thompson pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
