The Cowboys drew a line under the quarterback search with Sanders: D-.

The Cowboys clearly saw something nobody else did in Dasan McCullough, taking him 35 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D- is the result.

They have staked the next five years on Shedeur Sanders, which is the only story that really matters here. They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. A whole weekend of picks and cornerback is somehow still a want.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Johnson.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
