The Cowboys cashed the board's mistake on Clark: A-.

Somebody in the Round 7 slot was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Cowboys sat still while De'Corian Clark, the No. 195 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. They executed a plan and it shows in the A-.

The cost of the Tupuola-Fetui reach is exactly the players who went right after him. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck.

Spending an early pick on edge rusher with tight end and interior defensive lineman open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through tight end.

Bottom line, they left the weekend a clearly better team, and they earned every bit of it.
