The Cowboys let Hunter fall into their laps, and walked away with a A-. You build a draft on nights like this. Jarquez Hunter had no business being available in the Round 7 slot, and the Cowboys did the only sane thing and turned in the card. Very little went wrong, and the A- is earned.
The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. The veteran additions, J.K. Dobbins chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.
Add it up and this is about as clean as a draft weekend gets.
