The Bengals let Wagner fall and pounced. Final grade: B-.

For all the boxes ticked, the Bengals skipped the loudest one: tight end is exactly as bare as it was. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

However the rest shakes out, Wagner at that price is a win they earned. Reaching for Orange left real value on the table behind him. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Their trades came out a wash either way.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
