Whoever sat across the table from the Bears should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. A dependable weekend that grades out a B+.

If Chambers pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Budda Baker gives the group a proven body among the projects. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the cornerback spot they never got to.
