A costly weekend of dealing drags the Chargers to a C-.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Chargers shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill.

They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. The Proctor value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. The cost of the Powers-Johnson reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

In the end, a coin-flip class: fine today, with a wide range of outcomes ahead.
