Best value of the weekend goes to the Commanders for Chambliss: B-.

Somebody in slot 223 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Commanders sat still while Trinidad Chambliss, the No. 182 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. With cornerback, offensive lineman and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on linebacker is the choice that costs them.

The cornerback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but cornerback.
