Every other box got a look, but tight end did not. The Commanders will head to camp with the same hole they walked in with. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

However the rest shakes out, Daniels at that price is a win they earned. The Bowen reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the tight end spot they never got to.
