After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Commanders committed. Jayden Daniels is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline.

Hadden at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer. A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
