Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Commanders were there to profit. Ollie Gordon II, the No. 164 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 250th pick. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. They were the ones paying the moving tax this weekend.

They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
