Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Commanders spent pick No. 205 on Gino Garcia, a name the board had a full 100 spots lower. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

Leaving tight end unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Skattebo falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
