The David Walker pick is the one that will follow the Commanders into the fall. They took him 76 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so.

That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The tight end spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but tight end.
