The Commanders got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the B-.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Commanders did exactly that with Da'Shawn Womack in No. 223. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. Allar at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. That wide receiver hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
