If confidence were a draft strategy, the Commanders would have aced it. Trey Holly at Round 7, Pick 7 is 22 spots clear of where he belonged.

The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Landing Williams that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
