The Commanders found their guy under center in Maye: B+.

The search is over. The Commanders handed the keys to Drake Maye, and the whole operation now runs on his development. No fireworks, but a solid B+.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. Getting Oladapo where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

The Commanders clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.

In pick No. 4 they get a franchise quarterback. A real need, handled.
Pick28 Rnd1 Chop Robinson
In the 28th overall pick they get a bendy edge with upside at fair value. A clean fit for the roster.

Jordan Morgan slid further than he should have, and pick 35 is lovely value for the offensive lineman. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
