A franchise passer in Williams headlines a B+ weekend for the Commanders.

After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Commanders committed. Caleb Williams is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. No fireworks, but a solid B+.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. The wide receiver spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

The Bethune pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. The Laremy Tunsil deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
